HOW THE GAME WORKS

All of the levels themselves are fully contained within the http://www.spaceminnow.com home directory. However, some code clues and hints about how to progress from one level to another may be found somewhere within the http://www.zentu.net home directory. Why the two websites? The search function for www.spaceminnow.com has been placed under a handicap, for obvious reasons, but search will be a necessary part of some levels.

Some levels may be found via a hidden or obscure link on the page. Some levels may be found via web address or as a simple page ending in .html, which you must type in the address bar manually. Some levels are found behind a login prompt for a username and password. Others still are .html pages within an obscure, possibly lengthy, web-directory URL path. Even still may some levels require a bit of research and creativity on your part; in every case, the web page of the level you're on will point to or hint at enough clues for you to progress to the next level.

For example, to get started and progress from the bottom of the ocean at level zero which is here to level one, read and study the code. Study the page, search for hidden links, look for invisible webpage ink, and/or check the source code. In order to understand the terminology, vocabulary and naming conventions as they are used in this game, it might a good idea to register at and check out The Space Minnow School of Fish, which contains quite a bit of reference.
