Now for the good stuff. The prizes being awarded to participants of this code challenge are indeed real. While many people may like to experiment out of minor curiosity or for the intellectual challenge of advancing through as many levels as possible, others may find themselves playing to win. The rewards discriminate against neither motivation.

Aside from the notoriety of being the top minnowtracker or minnowtracking team, the primary or "grand" prize winner(s) will receive monetary value as well. This monetary value will be a significant stake, percentage of ownership complete with an official signed and sealed "Certificate of Ownership," and entitlements to earnings of the spaceminnow.com parent company known as Zentu, LLC. Another way of thinking about it is that this grand prize could be likened to an IPO; even, perhaps, an extremely exclusive IPO of preferred stock. This creative and less-than-traditional approach reflects the fact that this is the 21st Century, and the Internet landscape is changing a lot in the business world. The grand prize, however, is not the only prize being awarded to participants. Further details about both the grand prize and the runner-up prizes will be detailed on this page in the coming weeks and months. Already is it being guaranteed at least a few of the top minnowtrackers will win one of the rare and highly coveted @zentu.net email addresses. @zentu.net email addresses are much more rare than AOL, hotmail, yahoo! and gmail addresses. They are even more rare than slashdot email addresses. Now that's something to brag about to your friends and pet fishes.

Finally is it important to note that while there are opportunities for advertisers or sponsorships through our respective publishing partners (because every bit helps), the purpose of this game is not to serve up a bunch of advertising. This game has been written to challenge and reward technical people in the same way that markets tend to reward entrepreneurs. Indeed, spaceminnow and its respective affiliates and prizes are part of a next generation model of Internet innovation for business.
